This study adopts a quantitative approach and applies the Partial Least Squares-Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) method to examine the factors influencing behavioral intention and usage behavior regarding Financial Technology (FinTech) services among Generation Z. The research framework integrates variables sourced from the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) and the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT), such as perceived usefulness (PU), perceived ease of use (PEOU), social influence (SI), and facilitating conditions (FC). Data were gathered via a questionnaire given to Generation Z participants who had utilized FinTech services. The results indicate that perceived usefulness (PU), social influence (SI), and facilitating conditions (FC) positively and significantly affect behavioral intention (BI). Conversely, perceived ease of use (PEOU) does not have a significant impact on behavioral intention (BI). Moreover, behavioral intention (BI) is observed to exert a positive and significant influence on use behavior (UB). The findings further suggest that behavioral intention (BI) serves as a mediator between perceived usefulness (PU), social influence (SI), facilitating conditions (FC), and the actual utilization of FinTech services. In general, these results indicate that the perceived advantages, social pressure, and access to technological assistance are significant factors that motivate Generation Z to embrace FinTech solutions. This research adds to the current body of literature on FinTech adoption by combining the TAM and UTAUT frameworks regarding Generation Z in the post-pandemic period.
